Sunday Morning Cards

Good Friends

Super Fun Birthday

Sharing a couple cards I made earlier today while listening to the wind howl and the rain hit the windows.

For both of these cards I picked out some random patterned paper from my stash. Lord knows I have plenty of it! I love being able to use it with stencils. The red paper is from October Afternoon and the teal paper is from Core'dinations. I used Hero Arts Petals Stencil Pair with Ranger Texture Paste on both of these cards. The flowers on the teal card are some leftovers sitting on my craft table that I used on another card.

Glitter Christmas Trees

Glitter Christmas Trees

I don't think I've ever used as much glitter cardstock on my cards as I have this year. I really don't consider myself a big glitter crafter. Maybe it's due to some of the dies I've been using for my Christmas cards this year. I don't know, but I do like the look of it for some reason, so I'm just going to go with it for now.

All four cards that I've created are using the same Memory Box die called Flowering Christmas Tree. The only difference between the card above and the other three below is that I diecut a second tree in red,  cut the larger flowers off and added them to the gold tree.

Cardstock used for the all cards is from PaperTrey Ink.

I used four different embossing folders for the embossed panels. All are by Darice with the exception of one of them. I'm not sure who that one is by because the name was worn off. I think it was from Lifestyle Crafts.

All the gems and pearls are from my stash.

Six Super Easy Cards!

I'm very far behind in my card making this season! Today I made 12 Christmas cards, two of each design that you see here on my blog. Prior to that I think I had only made six Christmas cards so far. Compare that to the last several years and I am waayyyyy behind.

I knew when I started working on cards today that I wanted to make some super easy ones. I pulled out the DCWV Botanica Noel paper pad and got to work. There are two sheets of sentiments and images so I decided to use some of them rather than stamping.

I dressed the cards up with some silver and pearl gems and some dot sparklers from Stampendous. I also added a little ink around the edges and added some foam dots for some dimension.

Super easy way to get some cards made very quickly! I'm hoping to work on some more this evening because I still need a few more homemade cards to send out.

Thanks for stopping by!

{Another} Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet Mini Album!

Graphic 45 Ring Bound Nutcracker Sweet Mini Album

Today I'm sharing the photos of the third Nutcracker Sweet Mini Album I created. I think I've used up most of the collection on three 6 x 6 books. Now I'm going to try and use what's left on some smaller books.

I'm not going to go into detail below each photo because I used all the products for this book that I used on this one. The only differences that you'll see are the chipboard pieces and that I've changed some of the patterns on the pages and some of the photo mats. Otherwise all dimensions are the same.

Graphic 45 Withdrawal

I don't know why I haven't been using my favorite line of paper lately. My new friend Marilyn from Madison sent me a couple of her cards that gave me some ideas. I created my own versions this afternoon and I'm pleased with the results. Now, I'm anxious to start using Graphic 45 paper again.

For the base of the first card I chose to use Dusk by Bazzill and I just love the color! Cardstock used is Haute Couture and Buttons A La Mode from the Fashionista Collection by Graphic 45. Making Memories Slice Machine using Basic 3 and Noteworthy cartridges were used for the diecuts. Hero Arts Clear Design "Friends" stamps, black gemstones, brads and machine stitching were also used.

I used red cardstock for the base of the next card. I also used Graphic 45's Haute Couture and Vintage Cherries from the Fashionista Collection. Hero Arts "Friends stamps, Making Memories Slice Diecutting machine using Noteworthy, machine stitching, red and black felt was used with the Flowers & Branch die from Sizzix to cut the flower, button and lace.
