Frozen Mocha Frappuccino

Frozen Mocha Frappuccino

This is such a refreshing drink on a hot, steamy day! I didn't figure out the calories, but I know it's less than what you'd buy at coffee shops. You can make it even lower by using a sugar substitute, fat-free milk, fat-free chocolate syrup and fat-free whipped cream. Just experiment with ingredients until you find something you like!

Frozen Mocha Frappuccino
Makes 2 - 16 ounce servings

1 cup strong coffee, chilled
3 Tbsp sugar
1 cup milk - I used Silk Almond Milk
2 or more cups of ice
3 Tbsp chocolate syrup
Whipped cream, optional

Combine all ingredients in blender and blend on high speed until ice is crushed and drink is smooth. Serve with whipped cream, if desired.

Here are a few options:
Use 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk in place of the milk and omit the sugar.
Use caramel topping in place of chocolate syrup for a Frozen Caramel Frappuccino.
Use instant espresso in place of coffee.

I love these type of drinks. My daughter and I are Starbucks addicts so making them at home is the next logical step right? Thanks. Come over and visit us. We have a wonderful cold noodle dish for the hot weather.

I'm your new follower mostly because of this amazing drink, but partly because of the DH Lawrence quote at the top. My all time favorite book is Sons and Lovers! Great author! :)
