Here are two layouts I've created for display at The Baker's Wife. For both of them I've used BasicGrey's Cappella Collection. I love the "earthiness" look of this paper. I have to say I was a little out of my comfort zone with these layouts. As I working on these, I noticed that I generally gravitate to using solid backgrounds with a small amount of patterned paper when I scrapbook. I tried to use more patterns with these and found I like it.
For the first layout I chose to use some photos from a recent walk we took on The Bearskin Trail on a beautiful sunny fall afternoon.
The second layout uses photos from a recent visit we had with family from Minnesota. We took a trip to Little Bohemia in Manitowish Waters, WI where we had a wonderful lunch. We then took a tour of the room where the John Dillinger shootout occurred.
Products used for these layouts: BasicGrey's Cappella Collection Patterned Papers: Falsetto, Aria, Dolce, Primadonna, Brave!, Bellini, Chorus, Pageantry, Venetian, Timpani, Forte, Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Crushed Olive & Vintage Photo, Making Memories Edge Distressor, Dreamstreet Papers Alphabet, We R Memory Keepers Eyelets, Corrugated Paper, Jillibean Soup Corrugated Shapes, Graphic 45 Staples Flowers, BasicGrey Painted Brads.

Hi Patty, I met you the Baker's Wife on Friday. It was so nice to meet you and find your blog. I love this page. I saw it in the store. I was there but didn't go up stairs.
You have a lot of fun stuff on your blog. Those Doughnut Muffins look fab. I am addicted to cinnamon too.
My blog is here
Thanks for stopping by Linda! I checked out your blog yesterday. Love your cards! I added you to my reader so I can stop by regularly. Hope to see you again when I stop in the store.
