I just finished a new mini book and a Christmas one at that!! I bought this collection quite awhile ago but I just couldn't get around to using it before the holiday! I used Graphic 45's Nutcracker Sweet collection for this album. On the cover I used a few of the chipboard elements from the collection, a gemstone and I used a couple 7Gypsies Display Trim Corners.
Here's a cover shot from the side. I used seam binding for the closure.
I used another chipboard element and a gemstone on the spine.
LOVE this plaid pattern! It's my favorite from the whole collection!
There are 14 pages including the front and back inside covers. The page to the left has a hidden pocket that holds a photo mat.
Each pocket page holds a pull out photo mat. There are a total of six mats throughout the book.
I added a pocket the this page and added three tags for either journaling or photos.
The page to the left has a tri-fold photo mat under the closure.
Here it is opened.
These two pages have a photo mat with a pocket in the top that holds two tags. There's also a flip out on each page that holds a photo mat underneath it.
I've left a few pages blank so larger photos can be added.
The last page holds three tags in a pocket. I've used a Tim Holtz On The Edge Die that is called Distressed Doily.
I still have have some of this collection left so I'm planning a few more books with it. I'll post them when I finish them.
Sorry for not posting regularly lately. I've just been busy doing many things and haven't had time. I hope to be a little more consistent in the near future.
Thanks for stopping by!
