My Mom

I think I am back into scrapbook mode... finally! Cardmaking seems to be the only thing I have been doing lately. Hopefully now that I have finished a page I will be inspired to start working on the large amount of pictures I have just begging me to scrapbook them. It's not that I haven't wanted to do any scrapbooking, it's just that sometimes it's so much easier to make a card and see the finished product right away.

The picture I used below on my scrapbook page is a photo of my Mother at around the age of 6. The year was around 1942 and the picture was taken in Ironton, Ohio. People would travel door to door to see if children would like to have their picture taken on a pony. Of course there was a cost, but I'm not sure what the price was.
