Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge 104! - Anything Goes

Simon Says Flicker Challenge #104

I'm entering the two cards above in the Simon Says Flicker Challenge #104 this week.

The theme this time is "Anything Goes"

The cards below are extra cards I made using different sentiments that aren't from Simon Says Stamp.

All cards use the stamp set called Many Thanks from Simon Says Stamp.

The card above on the left uses the Simon Says Stamp Thanks For Being There set.

Since I had the Many Thanks stamp set out and set up in my MISTI I decided to create several cards at once.

Simon Says Flicker Challenge #104

This card uses the stamp set A Friend Like You from Reverse Confetti.

Simon Says Flicker Challenge #104

The stamp set for this card is also from Reverse Confetti called The Most Beauty.

Simon Says Flicker Challenge #104

This final card uses the Avery Elle Simply Said stamp and die set. Sentiments for all cards were stamped with VersaFine black onyx ink. The Distress Oxide inks used for stamping the flowers are: salty ocean, squeezed lemonade, peeled paint, mermaid lagoon and picked raspberry. On the last card I used Gina K's fresh asparagus for the leaves.

I love using the MISTI for stamping multiple cards at once!

Taylored Expressions Mandala Cutting Plate

More Cards For The Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge!

This past weekend I finished several cards that I had sitting on my craft table.

I had created the backgrounds a few weeks before, I just didn't know what sentiments I wanted to use.

More Cards For The Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge!

I used distress oxide inks for the backgrounds on the card above and for the thanks card below.

The die is from Simon Says Stamp called Script Hello.

The one above is my favorite.

The thanks die is from Simon Says Stamp called Painted Thanks.

I decided not to add bling or sequins. I thought they looked fine just the way the are.

You Are Awesome

You Are Awesome

While tossing some items from my craft table I was pleasantly surprised to find two die cuts that I forgot that I had cut!

You Are Awesome

I held them up against each other, offset them a little and decided I liked how they looked.

I'll have to try some other color combinations.

I like the shadow effect so they were spared from going into the trash.

You Are Awesome

The die is called Rosette Cutting Plate from Taylored Expressions. The same die I used for these cards.

You Are Awesome

The sentiment and die are from Avery Elle called Simply Said: You. I used VersaFine Onyx Black ink  for stamping.

Smile You Are The Best

fullsizeoutput_1757

For my card today I used Brusho Crystal Colours with a Papertrey Ink Stencil
I love how there are bare spots where the color didn't go through.
I think the random pattern is what I love the most.

Thinking of You

Thinking of You

My card today is for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge: Sketch 222. The sketch is shown below.

I've had this stamp set with matching die set from Avery Elle for quite some time and have never used it. I think it's retired or retiring, but is still available at some online stores. When I saw this sketch, it just clicked that I wanted to use it for my card. I just did a very subtle stenciled band behind my sentiment.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge blog is looking for design team members. I'm entering this card in their design team call.

Products used listed below.

Supplies:
Cardstock
Stamp - Avery Elle - Laurels
Die - Avery Elle - Laurels
Versafine Onyx Black Ink
Distress Oxide Ink - peeled paint and antique linen
Altenew Crisp Inks - ruby red, frosty pink, coral berry, buttercream and warm sunshine
Tim Holtz Stencil - dot fade

You Brighten My Day

You Brighten My Day

Here's my take on the sketch for the Freshly Made Sketches 298 Challenge. I'm also linking up to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

I love sketch challenges! It's even better when I look at a sketch and know exactly what I want to do. Anything Goes challenges are my favorite too! I love being able to just do my own thing.

I did die cut my "you" three times and adhered it together for more dimension. The rest of sentiment was stamped and heat embossed. I used a stencil for my diagonal strip. Supplies are listed below.

Be sure to take time to check out the beautiful cards on both challenge blogs by clicking the links below. Their design teams do some gorgeous work!

You Are Pretty Darn Amazing

You Are Amazing

I love bright, bold backgrounds with a splash of black! For this background I used my Gelli Art Gel Printing Plate. I created this background awhile ago and just set it aside until I decided on a sentiment. When I use my gel plate I will normally make several backgrounds or one large one and cut it down. I ended up getting two backgrounds out of this one. I've saved the other for another card.

I love all the random patterns you get when you work with the gel plate. I used paint and stencils to create this. For the sentiment I used a stamp from Avery Elle and the matching die. I heat embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder. Supplies are listed below.

You Are Pretty Darn Amazing

You Are Pretty Darn Amazing

Here's another card using gelato's. I actually made the background awhile ago and just set it aside waiting to be inspired to create something with it. I kept looking at it and finally decided to use an Avery Elle stamp set with a coordinating die. The stamp and die are called Simply Said:You. The three gelato colors I used are cotton candy, grape and blueberry.

I found some cardstock in my stash that matched the background to use for the die cut. It wasn't a real heavy weight cardstock so I cut it twice and adhered it together. I used Memento ink in called bahama blue. The splatters were done with the same color gelato's as the background. The white die cut is called Fancy Labels. Very simple card with bright colors!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
