I decided to participate in the sketch challenge that Hero Arts has going on for the month of April. There are four sketches to choose from. You can do one or all of them and you can enter as many times as you want. I really struggled with this! Not the sketch, but trying to get all of my paper and embellishments coordinated. I tried working on it last night and just couldn't get it together. Woke up this morning and everything just fell into place! I think my problem is that I "over think" things sometimes.
This is my card:
These are the sketches that you can choose from. I chose the one on the far right.
Products used for this card: Hero Arts April Sketch Challenge - April2011A, PTI Cardstock Base in Orange Zest, Patterned Paper From Little Yellow Bicycle - FlutterBy & Fusia FlowerDot & Crepe Paper Lace Stickers, Making Memories Funky Vintage Fabulous Flowers - Ruby, Making Edge Distresser, Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Black Soot, Embossing Powder, Creative Memories 1-1/4" Square Punch, Hero Arts Small Accent Pearls, Hero Arts Clings - My Type - CG280.
The month is only beginning! I may have to enter some more cards in the challenge and I'm thinking of trying out the Stamp Layering Technique that's also going on. Wish me luck!
Thanks for stopping by!
