I finally created an album with this gorgeous Graphic 45 pet collection! I don't know how long I've had this paper line sitting on a shelf. Too long, that's for sure!
I buy the collections I love and then I just can't get myself to cut into them and start a project. I visualize it, but don't make it a reality. I'm not going to say how many collections of paper lines I have just waiting for me to make something out of them. Not all are Graphic 45, but quite a few are!
For the cover I did use some of the flower cardstock die-cuts from the collection along with flowers I had in my stash. I think they are from Petaloo and some others I picked up somewhere. I used some bling I had on hand for the flower centers.
There are fourteen pages total including the front and back cover. I had planned to use some black book rings I have but the book ended up too chunky and I had to go buy some larger rings.
The page to the right holds a frame. I pulled out an old Sizzix die I've had forever to make the frame. The white cardstock can be pulled out and used as a template to cut a photo to slide in it's place.
I love the patterned paper on the page to the left!
The page to the left has a booklet that opens (shown below). I also added one of the cardstock pockets and a tag from the collection. The page to the right has a pocket that holds a booklet (shown below).
The page to the left holds two photo mats as does the page to the right.
I added another frame to hold a photo. This time I changed the orientation on the page. The page to the right holds two more photo mats.
It's quite a chunky book.
I love creating the books that don't use binding rings, but for some reason books with rings hold a special place in my heart. They are my favorite to create!
Love the paper I used for the back cover!
I hand dyed all the ribbon for the rings. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink to coordinate the colors.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look!
