It's called Watermelon Blast. The instructor for the "Summer Coolers" class I went to shared this recipe. When I first tasted it, I knew it would probably rank as one of my favorites.
I just love the mixture of watermelon, strawberry and lime.
The green specks are the mint which really add alot of background flavor.
Watermelon Blast
6 cups cubed watermelon
2 cups strawberries, cut up
6 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 cups crushed ice
mint - I used the leaves from 3 sprigs
Sugar or simple syrup, to taste (I used about 1/2 cup simple syrup) *see below
Add watermelon, strawberries, lime juice, mint leaves, ice and sugar or simple syrup (if desired) into the blender pitcher. Blend on high speed, stopping to push fruit down if necessary. Serve & enjoy!
*Simple syrup is one cup sugar and one cup water. Heat in saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Cool and use in recipe if desired. Refrigerate. Will keep up to two weeks.

This looks and sounds fabulous. I love watermelon so will definitely give it a try!
Oh this looks so refreshing and beautiful too!
Did you squeeze limes for the fresh lime juice or use the bottled lime juice like we would use for other recipes or what?...
That kind of threw me off !
Thanks..
@Fiddlesticks - yes! I used fresh, squeezed lime juice! I should have added the "squeezed" in there :)
Watermelon juice is one of the best summer refreshers ever. Plus, it makes a great cocktail, too, with a little vodka. ;)
