Addicted To Stamps and More! Anything Goes Challenge #316

Creativity

One more card for a challenge today!

This one is being linked to the Addicted to Stamps and More! Anything Goes Challenge.

Creativity

I love random thoughts. I adore Visible Image stamps. They have so many cool sentiments.

This stamp is called Creativity.

This was a second generation print using a stencil from The Crafters Workshop called mini chickenwire reversed and leftover ink from another card I had made. I used distress oxide ink for this print, but I'm not sure of the color. This was one of the prints I pulled from my overflowing container  of backgrounds.

I used some bling from my stash to finish off my card.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Craft Stamper Magazine Challenge: Anything Goes

Life's A Journey

My card today is for the Anything Goes challenge over on the Craft Stamper Magazine Blog. While I love sketch and color challenges, anything goes challenges rate pretty high with me. Sometimes I never know what direction I'm going in or what I'm doing until my project is almost finished.

I had the random rectangle of card stock that I had die cut while working on another card and not wanting to waste it, I started inking and adding different stenciled bits to it. That's how this card evolved.

Life's A Journey

I used five different stencils on my panel. Four from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous and one from TCW. Three Distress Oxide inks were blended together on my card panel. I used black to highlight. I took the extra ink left on my craft mat and splattered it onto the card base. All product names are listed below.

Life's A Journey

After die cutting my bicycle image and stamping the sentiment, I added foam tape to my panel before adding the panel to my card to give it some dimension.

Supplies:
Cardstock
Stamp - Unity Stamp Co - For The Guys
Versafine Onyx Black Ink
Distress Oxide Ink: peacock feathers, fozzilized amber, black soot, seedless preserves
Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Stencils: Dot Fade, Latticwork, Gothic, Burlap
TCW Stencil: Mini Well Rounded
Dies: Our Daily Bread Designs: Double Stitched Rectangles, Ellentina Cutting Dies: Bicycle

You Make Me Smile

This is a card I just about tossed! I started out mixing some Festive Berries Tim Holtz Distress Ink with Golden Light Molding Paste. I then spread it over a TCW Balzer Designs mini chevron stencil. After it dried I wasn't too enthused by the almost "pinkish" color. I then let it sit for.......a few weeks! As I was picking up my craft room the other day, I looked at it again and thought "I can do something with this".

I used my WRMK envelope punch board to make the little flag ends on the black and white card stock. I didn't apply the molding paste too thick, so the design isn't raised a lot. It does have some nice texture though.

After popping up the sentiment which is by Hero Arts called All Occasion CL272 and adding a few Hero Arts black metallic decor, I think it turned out okay!

Unscripted Sketches #242 - Wishing You Brighter Days

I tinted some Golden Gel Mediums Light Molding Paste yellow using dandelion ink from Memento to create my circle background on this card. I used the negative from a Spellbinders circle die cut out of cardboard that I taped over the TCW mini chevron stencil and then applied the molding paste. I love it! This stuff is so fun to work with. The purple branch is a Die-Namites die called summer branch.

I hope you'll join us this week with your take on the sketch above. You can get all the details over at Unscripted Sketches! You don't have to have a blog in order to play. If you load your creations to a gallery, just add the direct link to your project and be sure to give credit for the sketch to Unscripted Sketches. That's it!
