At a class I took called "Summer Coolers" the instructor made an orange creamsicle float. I'm not a huge fan of ice cream because I don't tolerate it well. I did try it and it was delicious! I would definitely make it, but use a non-dairy ice cream.
This is what I came up with and I'm calling it a Lime Cooler:
Lime Cooler
Lime Sorbet
Ginger Ale
Heavy Cream, whipped - optional
Scoop the sorbet into a large glass and add ginger ale. Top with whipped cream. Enjoy!
I loved the taste of this and I'll be making more of these on hot days!
