Friend or Foe?

We had to have one of our cats shaved because she's 18 lbs of chubbiness and doesn't do a very good job of keeping herself clean. Actually, we were going to have her put to sleep, but I just couldn't do it.

The kids have asked to see pictures of Carmel (aka Babygirl) and I've had a hard time getting her to pose for me.

The picture below shows her and Toby having a stare down. He's scared to death of her and she hates him. However, they will co-habitate when I am in my scrapbook room. I might add, this brown cushion she's laying on was bought for Toby. He's been able to lay on it maybe once. Babygirl took it over and barely moves from it.

She looks so much better shaved and I think she feels much better too. She's actually been a little playful....until Toby and our other cat come around.

She's a sassy girl with ALOT of attitude. She's never like me until all the kids left home. I've saved her life more than once.

This is Oscar Marie. I don't know what to say about him except that he is in his own little world. Always has been. He hates Babygirl, they've never really gotten along, but tolerate each other. He follows me everywhere, drives me crazy, chews paper and scrapbook supplies, unrolls toilet paper and is just plain annoying more times than not. He looks very innocent when sleeping though.

I am Babygirl...Queen of my castle....hear me ROAR!!
