I'm having so much fun with glossy cardstock...I love it! The card below is a technique called "wax paper background". I really like how it turned out and can't wait to try it using black ink...my favorite.
Supplies used for the card below: Glossy Cardstock, Wax Paper, Iron, Red Ink, Paper Frills Ribbon by Doodlebug, Hero Arts Small Accent Pearls and Clear Design Stamps "Friends", Brads, Kraft Cardstock.
In the last few days I've posted cards using the crayon resist and baby wipe background techniques. I'm pleased with the results so I made the two cards shown below.
This card is my absolute favorite, which I'm sure doesn't surprise anyone! I love plaid and the colors in my opinion are just gorgeous with black. This baby wipe technique is fun to do. I need to get some more colors in the re-inkers so I can continue to experiment.
Supplies used for this card: Glossy Cardstock, Black Cardstock, Ribbon, Paper Crimper, Re-Inkers in Prussian Blue, Black and Dark Moss, Hero Arts Clear Design Stamps "Thinking of You".
I just love how the crayon resist techinque makes the flowers "pop" in the card above.
Supplies used for this card: Hero Arts Clear Design Stamps "Cherish", Glossy Cardstock, Green, Yellow & Blue ink, Ivory, Blue & Green Cardstock, Black Checked Ribbon, Hero Arts Gemstones in Citron & Light Blue.
