Salmon Baked In White Wine
I love salmon, but I don't eat it as often as I should. I found this recipe over at Cooking Nuggets and decided to try it.
I picked up a Chardonnay with the aid of a helpful employee at the liquor store. I would have chosen sweet and he said to use a dry wine.
I added a little more wine than the recipe called for. My pieces of salmon seem so large I thought it needed more. I had plenty left for leftovers. I could get my husband to eat it once, but I had it for two more meals! I swear the leftovers were better than the first night I had it.
The salmon had a great taste. I'll definitely use this recipe again.
Salmon Baked in White Wine
Salmon fillet – boned and skinned
seasoning salt- I couldn't find Montreal Salmon Seasoning so I used a salt-free savory all-purpose seasoning from McCormick.
1/3 cup of white wine - I used more
Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for bout 15 minutes or until the fish starts to flake with a fork.

Great idea, to use wine. Moisture+flavor is a good combo, and I'm always looking for new ways to cook fish. I wonder if all fish would be tasty baked with wine? Thanks for linking this to Food on Fridays! You may have opened up some great new fish nights for us!
