One New Technique + Four New Cards

I've really had fun experimenting with different techniques lately. I also find that I love making cards. My scrapbooking has been suffering, but I'll get to it someday!

The shaving cream technique (see card below)has intrigued me. Yesterday I tried it and loved it! The pattern possibilites are infinite. It's a little messy, but who cares if you're having fun! I'm anxious to get some new colors for the re-inkers so I can make different patterns. All of these techniques will show up on my Christmas cards this year.

Products used on the card below: shaving cream, reinkers in black, prussian blue, dark brown & dark moss, glossy cardstock, brown cardstock, ribbon, buttons, staples & Hero Arts Clear Design Stamps "Thinking of You".

Amazing

For the card below I did the crayon resist technique on the leaves. I just love the way the white peeks out on the images using this technique.

Products used for this card: white crayon, Kraft cardstock, Memento Dew Drop inks by Tsukineko in Cottage Ivy, Rhubarb Stalk, Rich Cocoa & Potter's Clay, Simply Chic stamps by Provo Craft, Cosmo Cricket "Earth Love" cardstock, ribbon, brads & Hero Arts Clear Design Stamps "Anytime Messages".

Appreciate

I like playing around with the baby wipe techinique used on the card below. My hands are usually covered in ink by the time I'm done, but it's so worth it because of the outcome. I used the same colors as a card I previously posted, but I made the pattern a little different. I love plaid! Can't wait to try this technique with black, red & yellow!

Products used: baby wipes, reinkers in black, prussian blue & dark moss, glossy cardstock, ric rac, flowers, button, twine, red, teal & white cardstock & Hero Arts Clear Design Stamps " Birthday Messages".

Birthday Wishes

I'm really having a hard time trying to figure out which technique is my favorite. I love them all! I like how the background is different everytime with the waxed paper technique (see below). I know I'll be using this one a lot.

Products used: waxed paper, glossy cardstock, Memento Dew Drop inks by Tsukineko in Tuxedo Black, Lady Bug, Potter's Clay, Rhubarb Stalk & Cottage Ivy, black brads, Kraft Cardstock & Hero Arts Clear Design Stamps "Friends".

They're all so beautiful and cool! I can't decide which one's my favorite ;) Although the crinkled wax paper technique is super cool!
